Maybe LR has a caching issue or a print limit or maybe the process is too tasking for LR? Once LR prints get to around the 200+ mark- it freezes. There has not been an instance when I have had the time or patience to let LR possibly resolve itself during the freeze, but it's been a consistent pattern regardless. AirCastProII has replaced its already fast imaging engine with the brand-new, ultra-fast HEIPr Engine. I have been told that if the DNP-DS40 runs hot it will take a short break, which could result in the LR hanging, but I run alternate software called PrintRipper and the printer can easily churn out 500+ photos and neither software or printer hiccups. I don't believe the printer is an issue either, which is a DNP-DS40. I also run a 30" Cinema display, but this doesn't have any affect towards this issue. #PRINTRIPPER S FOR MAC#
I have 16GB of ram and always have at least 150GB of available hard drive space for live events. Downloading PrintRipper for Mac from the developers website was possible when we last checked. The only remedy is to restart the machine. The application's main executable file is titled PrintRipper.exe and it has a size of 29.05 MB (30464664 bytes). test tools - Fixed tools/ripper.rb to properly print ripper sexp at the end. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for admin rights. + Overhaul of parser/lexer comment processing. The executable files below are part of PrintRipper. LR versions (3-5) have had this same issue- after a consistent printing session of close to 200+ (4圆) print jobs, LR hangs/freezes. For other PrintRipper versions please click below: They occupy about 29.25 MB ( 30674720 bytes) on disk. The print results have always been fantastic due to the control I have over the images.
#PRINTRIPPER S MANUAL#
It functions like a photo booth printer, but it's obviously handled in a manual manner. I use it to import a large batch of photos and print out a large number of sets (with branded Watermarking or Identity Plate templates) at live events. I know I'm not using LR in a conventional manner, but I have been extremely satisfied with its batch post processing and its printing features.
